A picturesque mid level hike with two white sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio Beach, which are located in this protected area that houses coastal rainforests, mangrove swamps, coral formations, and islands. Throughout this natural history tour, the guide will explain the different nature specimens that can be observed, allowing one to take photographs or just admire the view. Upon completing the hike, the remaining time can be spent enjoying the beach. The park is closed on Mondays.

En route to a scenic property that is home to beautiful stables, a corral, an open air waiting area, and bathroom access, you will learn all about the wonderful history of Quepos. This Manuel Antonio tour allows you to uncover the exotic secrets that lie within this secondary rainforest.

The horseback ride lasts approximately two-and-a-half hours round trip and it will be highlighted by views of the valley, verdant vegetation, and numerous wildlife species, such as birds and reptiles. At the end of the trail there is a beautiful waterfall where you will be able to rest for about 30 minutes.

OCEAN KAYAKING

Enjoy a paddling tour through Manuel Antonio’s coastline. The tour departs on the south side of Quepos and begins paddling towards Playa Biesanz. From a vantage point only possible in kayaks, you will experience Manuel Antonio’s breathtaking cliffs and beautiful rock formations as we follow the coastline. Midway through the tour there will be a brief break for relaxation and to enjoy fresh fruit and snacks at a secluded white-sand beach.

You will paddle near rock formations where one can see many shore birds nesting or gliding on the thermals created by the offshore winds that hit this rocky outcrop. The tour will conclude by paddling back to Quepos. Our summer sunset trips are strongly recommended. Crystal kayaks are also available for your enjoyment.
